Description
:
Capital came from cloister and was transferred to the Musée lapidaire. It is now conserved in a chapel in the north transept. Dates to the first half 12th century.
Reference
:
A similar capital is in the cloister at Moissac, citing four names of musicians other than David. The names are in Scripture, but the sculpture at Conques and Moissac does not reflect exactly the instruments.
